Privacy Policy
Shackle AI operates an autonomous anti-procrastination engine utilizing deep-level window hook infrastructure and local daemon enforcement to optimize user productivity. This document details how data is managed between your local machine environment and our systems.
Local System Monitoring & Telemetry
To enforce active locks and strike tracking, Shackle AI monitors desktop environmental telemetry locally:
- Active Application Hooking: Active window text and process metadata are parsed locally via deep IPC bindings to discover focus state violations.
- Voice Synthesis Data: Custom audio templates uploaded for Level 3 voice cloning are encoded locally before transmission to processing nodes. This data is utilized solely for your personalized text-to-speech feedback pipeline.
Public Leaderboard Data & "Hall of Frauds"
By using the platform, specified non-sensitive session violations (your public username, infraction timestamp, violation type, and generated AI roasts) are synchronized to the public database ledger for display on the public leaderboard feed. Users can opt out of this public visibility by enabling Ghost Mode inside the Premium tier interface.
Cloud Synchronization & Third-Party Gateways
When authenticated with a verified account, focus indices, cumulative XP levels, and strike tracking statistics are backed up securely to our remote cloud database. Payment processing operations are handled externally by secured partners (Razorpay), and no raw payment account credentials are stored on Shackle AI servers.
Data Retention & Deletion
Users maintain complete command over their historical telemetry logs. Executing an account purge via the Profile Manager interface triggers immediate, irrevocable deletion of all remote cloud records, local tracking registries, and active session history archives.
